It's World Cardmaking Day! And to celebrate Bo Bunny is doing a fun little blog hop filled with inspiring card designs and awesome prizes!! Want to to do the Bunny Hop (heehee, I couldn't resist!) and join the fun? The blog hop begins today October 6th at 9am MST (11am EST) and goes to Tuesday October 9th at 9pm MST (11pm EST) during which time if you leave a comment at our blogs you will have a chance at winning some amazing prizes! Bo Bunny will of course be sending out a wonderful prize and as you hop along you will find that some of the BB girls have put up some prizes of their own! Bo Bunny has been so very generous to us design team girlies over the years and I'm happy to have a chance to do a little sharing.
Since it is cardmaking day today, I thought I would put up a nice little cardmaking set as my giveaway prize! Here's what the winner will get from me:
~ 1 Bo Bunny 'Ad Lib' Card Kit consisting of:
8 - die cut cards,
8 - envelopes,
2 - 6 x 12" die cut elements
1 - 6 x 12" adhesive chipboard elements
1 - color rub-on sheet
1 - Instruction sheet for 8 card designs
~1 Package of Ad Lib Dimensional Stickers
~ 1 Package of Ad Lib Noteworthy Journal pages
~ 1 Ad Lib Clear Stamp Set
~ 1 Set of Coordinating Fabric Blooms (turquoise)
~ 1 Package of Ad Lib Layered Chipboard
How can you have a chance at the prize? To have a chance at my prize just leave a comment at my blog, I'd love to hear what types of cards you'd like to make.....is shabby-chic your style? Clean & Simple? Do you like pop up or intricately folded cards? What kind make you happy?
To have a chance at the prize pack from Bo Bunnys blog, you will have to collect a bunch of letters along the hop and at the end unscramble the word. When you have figured out the secret word you will then email Bo Bunny with the secret word and be added to the draw for their prize. (you can find the email tab for Bo Bunny in the right column of their blog, just click on it and send them your answer). Okay....here is my secret letter....it is....A. Here is the order of the blog:
4. Tara Orr
10. Romy Veul
(You will then unscramble the letters you've collected and head back to the Bo Bunny Blog, click on the 'Email' icon in the right column of the blog and send them the answer)
Above are a couple of close-ups of the card I made for this hop. I used those great little 6x6 paper pads that Bo Bunny puts out (they are just perfect for card making). Here is my supplies list for the card:
Patterned Paper: Et Cetera
6x6 Paper Pad: Snow Day, Et Cetera
Cardstock: Bo Bunny Double Dot (Ocean, Clover)
Jewels: Snow Day, Et Cetera
Bloom: Natural Earth Daisy
Lace: Denim Lace Card
Butterfly die cut: Quickutz
Chipboard: Dusty Attic
I have one more card that I put together this morning that I wanted to share with you all. It started out as an ATC I made for a steampunk challenge at Dusty Attic in which I used some Bo Bunny cardstock and jewels with Dusty Attic chippies. I ended up using a different ATC I made for the challenge and decided to use this ATC to make a nice masculine style card using the new Bo Bunny Snow Day 6x6 Paper pad papers to create the card....
Supplies:
~ Snow Day 6x6 Patterned Paper
~ Bo Bunny Double Dot Cardstock (Ocean, Almond)
~ Bo Bunny Jewels; Snow Day
~ Bo Bunny Timepiece (clock)
~ Lace ~ Bo Bunny Denim Lace card
~ Bo Bunny Buttons
~ Chipboard: Dusty Attic (Large Cogs, Labels, Wings, Chain Fence)
Bo Bunny will announce the winner of their blog Prize (which includes a super cute pink purse in honor of breast cancer awareness as well a bunch of awesome Bo Bunny products) on October 10th when you are done checking out who won there, come back to my blog and I'll announce the winner of my prize on October10th as well! Here's a pic of the purse Bo Bunny will be giving away as part of their prize!
Now head on over to the very talented Samantha's Blog, pick up the next letter you'll need and be inspired!
Happy Hopping!!!
