ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful collection from Maja. I've been a follower of yours for some time now Gabrielle, and started following Maja about a month ago. I love their papers, but, so far, haven't found a retailer in Canada selling them. I may have to do some online shopping!! The blue paper with the white flowers that look like dogwood flowers to me sticks out, but, they all look lovely. I can't wait to see what magic you create with them :)

Oh my what is there not to love about every piece of this collection!!! I think I love the soft greens the most and that you can mix the with the soft pinks and then the soft blues. The sweet birds, the tiny flowers!!!!!Don't ya just want to roll in it!!!!!

The first thing I noticed about the spring vintage paper, other than the beautiful soft pastel vintage colors, is the designs and the patterns are small. Lovely little birds, tiny cherry blossoms, etc. I have stacks of paper with large blooms, large flowers and large patterns. The smaller scale of the designs in this paper is good for card making, scrapping, embellishments, borders, to name a few. There is so much more you can do when the patterns are on a smaller scale. The paper is soft in color, shabby and/ or vintage or not. Lovely spring papers!

ReplyDeleteFirst I just want to tell you that I have been studying many paper-crafting artists for some time now and I must tell you, that you are my all-time favorite artist. You have such a special touch and I think you are the Raphael of papercrafting! (is that too over the top?) And as requested, I think your artistry is so well matched to maja papers, as they are so special and there are few lines that can compete with the understated elegance and richness of depth that these papers provide (of course, I am swedish - so, I may be biased?); unfortunately, they are so darned difficult to find. Anyhow, I often enjoy and am amazed at what inspirational work of art you will think up next (my husband is constantly hearing me drone on of your talent.) Thank you for bringing a little much needed beauty to this place!

What a beautiful soft collection! The blue pages caught my eye first. With the favorite being the blue with the Spring flowers and second the blue leafy page. Third is the blue polka dots. With a boy and lots of baby pages still to scrap this would be perfect.
