Best Friends ~ Bo Bunny's NEW 'Rose Cafe'

So, it always used to be me behind the camera, but lately both my girls have turned into a couple of shutter-bugs.  My youngest daughter took this photo of my oldest daughter Chloe and one of her BFF's.  Loving that I have so many fun photos to work with now (thanks Meggy!...and Chloe!).  Another exciting thing is that I finally got to start playing with some of the beautiful goodies sent to me by Bo Bunny, love this new 'Rose Cafe' collection!

For my corner accent, I did a little bit of inking with some Tim Holtz 'Victorian Velvet' distress ink, then I stamped over the area with some classic Bo Bunny Stamps (It is Written, and Distress Textures Stamps....as well as one of my word stamps 'Beautiful' done in my own hand writing). I also did a bit of fussy cutting (floral designs) and used some of Bo Bunny's Kraft wood Flourish accents, buttons and Noteworthy die cut pieces to finish off  the corner design.

I used some of the coordinating chipboard accents and die cuts from the Noteworthy package to make the banner and background design.  The fabric blooms are a gift sent to me by Lucy from Tresors de Luxe, I thought they were such a nice match to the colors in this collection. (thanks Lucy!) xo

I used one of the smaller stickable stencils from Bo Bunny with some Texture paste to add a textural element to the page.  I added some lace trim, cheesecloth and some Frosting Pearl Flourishes by Bo Bunny in the side panels.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, your sweet comments and feedback just make my day! xo

So beautiful. Just luscious and filled with so many gorgeous details! You have to talented beauties :) One who creates art in the kitchen and one he does it behind the lens. Creative like their mama <3

I am waiting patiently, well really not so patiently, for you to say you have designed a paper line and it'll be coming out soon. Was telling my hubs look at what this woman does! I'll be shocked if it doesn't naturally progress in that direction. So if you haven't considered, hint hint nudge nudge!

Hey Gabrielle... I have a stupid question. I'm fairly new to adding so much dimension to my scrapbook pages, but my first granddaughter has really inspired me. Do you put these pages in a protective sleeve? How do I keep flowers from getting mashed and pa person bent???? TIA for your help.

Gabrielle Pollacco said...

Hi Barbara,
There are some layouts that can only be used in a frame (if there is too much 3D dimension on them)...but pages like above can still be put in a scrapbook sleeve, the blooms may flatten down a bit while in the sleeve but they will retain their shape when pulled out of the sleeve. I use lots of spacers in the spine of my album to give the pages lots if room between each other. Hope this helps! xo
