I don't know about you guys but we must have 50 thousand pens and pencils in our house but when I need one, there's none to be found! So I thought it would be a good idea to make a pencil jar. I repurposed an old cocoa tin and covered it with lots of Websters Pages goodness!
I used papers from the Postcard from Paris II papers and embellishments like Webster's Pages newest Perfect Accents (aka Cameos) and the super cute metalic frames they now have for them. I also added a few of some of my favorite Websters Pages trims. This project came together quickly! I guess I could've just used the tin as is but why not make it pretty right? :)

Oh this is gorgoeus! It will make a perfect eye-catcher on anyone's desk :)
Only you can turn a cocoa tin into a beautiful piece of art! Fabulous!
This tin has got a very pretty second life from you Gabrielle. I love the way you folded back the papers at the top, it looks very elegant with that cameo put on it....have a nice weekend and greetings from Holland, Miranda
This is one of the prettiest things I've ever seen! I love the cameo in the frame.
So very pretty Gabbi, I also need one for scissors, and tape. I know I have them, but where are they?
Pencils, pens scissors, all manage to go missing! Maybe they're partying with those pesky socks that go disappear all the time!
Love this, what great idea, and perfect for smaller scrap pieces from other collections we accumulate. Websters has some gorgeous papers!
Paula :)

So Pretty!!! Functional too, love it!!!
Oooo I just love 'paper crafting' projects!
& I love to see old things get re-purposed~
This is gorgeous and would make a nice gift as well!
Would be great on a scrappers desk for pens or small tools!
Thanks for sharing - WP is so lush!
Hi Gabrielle, *sigh* again such a pretty project! Love the soft colours and the embelishments are so well chosen. With such a beautiful pencil jar you'll never be without pens/pencils!

I love altered projects that end up so beautiful that you cannot believe how they started. Just fantastic! I love the rolled paper and the trim is fantastic. The Postcard from Paris II papers and embellishments are so romantic. Sight!! -- Mary Elizabeth
