And now, for the projects I created with this beautiful kit! (I have to say I just LOVED working with the goodies in this kit!  I had the kit and the embellishment add-on to work with and let me say, there was just ton's of beautiful things to work with.   I made 3 layouts and still have plenty more papers and embellishments to make more!)  Here is my first layout, I used a combination of the Nature Garden and Prima Fairy Belle papers in the kit to make up this page...
Here's some close-up pic's of the page so you can see all the pretty things you get with this kit....gotta love the different textures of blooms and that lovely Prima bling embellishment!  There are also a bunch of the Prima leaves included in the kit...I just love these for adding to a bloom cluster, it really gives a cluster of blooms a perfect 'finished' look.

And here is my second layout that I made with this beautiful kit!

As for my 3rd layout with this amazing kit, I'm going to have you wait a few days for this one.  I'll be sharing it along with a tutorial on a fun way to use the chunk of Polymer Clay included in this kit. (Pssst! There will also be a sketch included with this post!)
The ScrapThat! Design Team have outdone themselves with their creations this month so be sure and stop by their gallery and leave them some love!

Looking for Some Inspiration? Bo Bunny has it!

Today's assignment for some of the Bo Bunny girls was rather a unique and fun one.  They gave us a photo to use as inspiration for a project.  (see photo below)  I loved the fresh summery look of this photo and it made me think of the pretty colors in the Bo Bunny 'Country Garden' collection.  I picked out the soft blues, buttery yellow and the fresh greens to make up my layout.
Planting season is here and my whole family likes to get in on it.  My oldest daughter Chloe (now 14) has always loved to do the planting with us, so I chose to scrap a photo of her when she was about 8 years old, helping plant the blooms in front of the house. (I'll have to get some new pic's this year when we do our planting).
Most of the products on this page are all from the Bo Bunny Country Garden collection with the exception of three Dusty Attic Chippies, the Scroll #7 (below), the Topiary Trees #1 (above) and the Grass Cluster #1
Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Country Garden (Stripe, Garden Seed)
Cardstock: Bo Bunny Double Dot (Clover)
6x6 Paper Pad: Country Garden
Noteworthy: Country Garden
Rubons: Country Garden
Country Garden Card Kit (for title rubon)
Jewels: Country Garden
Trinkets: Smoochable
Chipboard: Country Garden

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Truly, Madly, Deeply....In LoVe :)

Yep, it's that time again....we are celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary in a few weeks, and every year I like to do a little l/o just for us.  So how perfect that I got all my Webster's Pages 'In Love' design team goodies a couple of days ago!!  I LOVE this collection, such pretty papers and the embellishments (sigh, oh those cameos!)   I came up with the page design after playing with the Websters Pages digi stuff.  I was making little 'signature' designs (see the bottom of my post)...and I was kinda fond of the design I came up with for my signature line and used the design for this page!.....
I was also so happy to have a chance to use one of the newest Dusty Attic chippies on this page.  Isn't that Heart Flourish chipboard lovely?  The finish I gave it was pretty simple.  Just a coating of white Gesso, a touch of pink chalk ink and a coating of Glossy Accents. (close-up above)

TIP:  I've mentioned this one before, but in case anyone missed it.  I always love to save the baking from my ornate style stickers.  This is a piece from a Prima felt strip.  I just lay the piece on my page and then use a make-up sponge to dabb over it with some pink chalk ink.
When you lift off the piece of paper, this is the left behind result. (below)  The backing piece has a waxy/shiney finish on one side that wipes off the ink nicely, so you can use the piece over and over.
While I had out my bits and pieces of  the 'In Love' collection, I decided to make up a couple of cards too!  I have some Weddings and Wedding Showers coming up so I thought these would be perfect for some cardmaking!
The chipboard fram here is another yummy new piece by Dusty Attic (these are a really nice size for cardmaking!)  ATC Frame Set #1
Websters Pages has something new out that they call 'Perfect Motifs" ....you know all those beautiful images we like to cut out from the Websters Papers? Butterflies, dressforms, hearts & blooms?  Yep! they now make this wonderful paper pad just filled with these images, just made for cutting out!  I did this with the little dressform I added to the card, as well as the butterflies.

And here is one more card I made, again using the In Love collection papers, mini pade papers and the Journaling cards!

Well, I'm off to bake for my nephew (and his fiance's) bridal shower (Jack & Jill) this weekend.  Hmmm, now which card shall I use this weekend? :)

Websters Pages Everday Poetry & Some Guest Designer Inspiration!

It's our pleasure as the Webster's Pages design team to do a project each month based on design inspiraton from our Guest Designer for the month.  This month our Guest designer is the fabulous Nic Howard!  I've been a longtime fan of her gorgeous work so it was an honor and a pleasure to create a page inspired by her work!  For my page above I used the horizontal linear design that Nic used on her page 'This is our year' and also picked up the use of corrugated cardboard and kitchen twine, as Nic used on her page.
I used a variety of the Classic and the Clean & Simple papers from the Websters Pages Everyday Poetry Collection to make up this page.  I also added just a touch of my favourite chipboard to the page, Dusty Attic's Flourish #5 to the page.  The finish I gave it is one I often like to use, painting it white, lightly inking the edges with some brown chalk ink, stamping a scripted word design on it and then coating it all with a crackle finish (Tim Holtz's Rock Candy)....
I also used just a little piece of the Wrought Iron Fence Border from Dusty Attic to add a fun design element to the Websters Pages door design.  This I just inked with some black chalk ink and added dabs of bronze 3D paint and some turquoise paint. (below)
NOTE:  My friend Vicky just informed me that she has just this past weekend restocked her etsy shop with loads of the newest Dusty Attic goodies, so if you are looking for a good source to get your Dusty on you can find it HERE...

To see more of Nic Howard's work, be sure to drop by the Websters Pages Ning site, and you can also see what the rest of the design team created using Nic's work as inspiration!

Siblings! Gotta love them!

Here's a layout I recently made using a photo I took of my two girls at an apple festival we went to.  Although my girls are 3 years apart, I love that the two of them get along (most of the time :) and have fun together.

I used another pretty  Dusty Attic Chippie in the corner (Scroll #7
Hope everyone has an awesome weekend! xx
