National Scrapbook Day

Here's a page I did for a contest to make a page about what I did on National Scrapbook day. I used a bunch of my favourite Cosmo Cricket Fleuriste papers to make this one!

Hey everyone!! I've just posted my first blog piece at Daisy D's!!....My article was on using their fabulous rub-ons. On my page I simply did a little dry brushing behind my photo and then piled on the fun rub-ons. In this one I used title, photo-frame, flourishes, arrow, quote and journaling spot rub-ons. My Creative Scrapbook

I did these layouts for a Design Team I'm on called My Creative Scrapbook....today is their big launch day!! I used two of their kits for these pages and I've got to say they were LOADS of fun to play with. More Daisy D's News!

I just got another fun package from Daisy D's the other day and in it was a new booklet Daisy D's has published for the Wonder Years Collection! I got 3 of my layouts published along with some journaling about the layouts by yours truly!! and at the back my photo and a little 'info' about the contributers! My first book!! .....also, Daisy d's now has a blogspot with great tips and techniques along with some fun contests and challenges being posted each week!! Am I dreaming???

As many of you know, I was chosen as one of the Design Team members for Daisy D's Paper Company, ....well today I got a couple of packages of goodies from them to work with!! My eyes are popping out of my head!!! I couldn't even lift the boxes. There were tons of paper packages, buttons, ribbons, flowers, metal accents, rubbons, mini-books, chipboard....I'm just overwhelmed!!! Are all manufacturers this generous with their design teams?? I feel so lucky to be on their DT!!

Redecorating

We recently did some redecorating in our home. Steve and I reclaimed our master bedroom for ourselves and painted it a stone colour, the cool part is that Steve built the headboard/night tables for me. He made these deep floating drawers for the nigh tables, I was going for a more sleek look, and I was really pleased with what he made for me!!.....the artwork above the bed is NOT staying, just there for the time being. I'm waiting for the new Cosmo Cricket line of papers (Fleuriste) to be available to me, then I'm going to create some canvass pieces for the wall above the bed, in the rich colours of the fuscia pillows I made for the bed.....(I'll post pics as soon as their done!)

Working on some canvas pieces

These are a couple of canvas pieces I've been working one for my office/scraproom. I bought a bunch of 6"x10" canvas's and painted the edges black. Then created these pictures with some digital software, adheared them to the canvas and added some scrapping products (blooms to the 'Precious' page and some gold dimensional paint to the "Attitude" page)....you can't see the added products on these pics, but I'll post a picture of my photo wall once its all up! :D
