Sharing My Signature Style in the April/May Issue of Scrap365!!

I was honored to be asked to do an article in the April/May Issue of Scrap365 Magazine on my 'Signature Style'! They featured 3 of my layouts and had me explain what makes up my signature style with tips and techniques that I love to use. I've Got Another Layout Pubbed In Scrap365 Magazine!

The November issue of Scrap365 ((UK magazine) is out now and I thought I would share a few little 'peeks' at a layout I got published in this issue.  They had us scrapping the men in our lives for this issue, which I think is great because I think many of us find it easy to scrap those feminine style layouts but we don't often see very many masculine style layouts.  I decided I would scrap a photo of one of my dear nephews for this layout, it's a photo my sister took of my nephew Michael at the cottage.  He's such a great kid.  He got married a few months ago and I know things get busy when you start a new life.  I didn't get to see as much of him as we used to so I was so happy when he called me up a few days ago and asked if he could just come over for the day and hang.  Here are a few more close up shots (sorry I can't share the layout in full here at my blog but you can see the full layout in the November issue of Scrap365) 

The zipper I used here again is acutally from an old pair of jeans....I added a tag behind the zip that pulls out and has my journaling.  I used lots of Dusty Attic chipboard on this one as well as Bo Bunny's Weekend Market collection papers and embellishments, trinkets and stamps.  I find this collection works really well for masculine layouts.

Got Another Layout Published in the September issue of Scrap365!!

I used one of my favourite Bo Bunny collections (Country Garden) and some new Dusty Attic chipboard pieces (Bird houses) on a layout I got pubbed in the September Issue of Scrap365!!  I'm only allowed to show you all some little sneaky-peeks of the layout online, so if you want to see it in it's entirety, you'll have to pick up the magazine! :)  Here is another wee peek....

My First Magazine Cover!! Scrap365!!

So I get my copy of the June issue of Scrap365 in the mail a couple of days ago, and I was so excited to see that the layout I contributed made the cover!!  Normally I can't show my layouts for the mag on my blog but I got permission to share the cover image with you all!

If you haven't seen this magazine yet you've got to check it out!!  If you are looking for a magazine that is just PACKED with inspiring projects, this is the one for you.  Personally, for me what makes a good magazine is one that has a LOT of layouts and plenty of tips and tutorials.  This one has it all!  I am not a new scrapper so it takes some pretty new ideas to capture my attention.  So far every issue I've received has really impressed me with great ideas, new ways to use products, beautiful project ideas and staying on top of the newest trends.  In this article I show a step by step on how to make beautiful embellishments for your scrap pages from Polymer Clay.
